Hugo Torre is inspired by the bico de papagaio (literally,
"parrot's beak"), a plant found in the Mata Atlantica rainforest
along the coast of Southeastern Brazil. This region of the
country is suffering from continual environmental devastation, and the artisans
use their pieces to preserve a sense of natural beauty.
The accessory artfully combines sterling silver with contrasting beads made
from cinnamon sticks. 925 rating silver.
