Christ. At the foot of the cross, two disciples show
their grief and angels accompany them. Christ's sacrifice on the
cross is one of the mysteries of the Christian faith.
Known as a retablo, this traditional diorama is housed
in a colorful chest crafted of wood and painted. Chvez
carefully models each figure and paints them by hand.
