Wearing his characteristic hat, Don Quixote de la Mancha rides forth to tilt at windmills. Armando Ramrez depicts the beloved character from Miguel de Cervantes' 17th century novel. He sculpts the idealistic knight and his gallant stallion from cogwheels taken from a car's electric system. The hat is made from a small wheel, while the horse's tail is made from thick wire. The rest of the pieces that complete this sculpture are recycled from the residues found at various die machines. Please note it is the artist's intention not to give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
